RAD AT THE RACES

The RAD Cyclery Marquee set up at NOOSA & MOOLOOLABA Triathlon's & at the recent
DUSK TIL DAWN Endurance Mtb event.
I know the
importance of having a shop that you respect & looks after you, as i had
with Shogun Honda, where I reached B grade & top 20 in Qld after 3 years & i was about to start the National series when RAD Cyclery
happened. I have since sponsored & supported juniors to elite athletes in
Road, Mtb & Triathlon, racing throughout Australia
& around the world, where we've had some great results. We've had the most success
with 2 top 10 finishes in the
National Triathlon series with CHARLIE Boyle
(Junior Elite) & DAVID Dellow (Elite) & Six Ironman finishers,
including Hawaii with ASHLEY Ritchie.
REBECCA Myerscough has been with us for a few years now & broke the record in
the 18-24 age group @ the IRONMAN in Forster in 2003. I
have always looked after our local LEIGH Palmer who has ridden for
LEMOND Fitness
in the US, DFL/Cyclingnews.com team in Belgium & has
now decided to spend a year or two in Australia to get
back some health. I have also sponsored the BRONCO'S junior team & our
very own RAD MULTISPORTS CLUB. We've also had the pleasure of assisting KATE & EMMA Major when their
in town & i even took care of KATE'S Ironman Orbea Ordu for a
few weeks & MIRINDA Carfrae is another world class triathlete who pops in when
she's back home. We have now decided to finish with RAD MULTISPORTS Club & with
the help from ZOOT SPORTS, have decided to put together a team consisting of
ROAD, MTB & TRI athletes, under RAD ZOOT ULTRA TEAM.

The FFAST Cycling Club is based in Brisbane and was established
in 1989. The club was started because of the inability of other clubs to develop
and promote cycling via supporting the establishment of sponsored racing teams
within the one club. So to start with, if you are wondering what Ffast means,
and not many people know what it means, it stands for Free Form Association of
Sponsored Teams. This was certainly different to the many of the other
established cycling clubs in Queensland at the time and followed the lines of
how cycling operates in Europe.
The FFAST Cycling Club can now offer our
Team Members MTBA memberships along with the current Cycling Australia memberships, so our new RAD
MULTISPORTS TEAM will be able to join one club for all of our cycling
requirements. Our riders will then be able to compete under the RAD MULTISPORTS
TEAM name although we will join through FFAST Cycling Club (Link below). Due to
the
growing list of Members wanting to race with us, it has made the decision a lot
easier for us, especially with the help of John Whip from FFAST Cycling Club. So
if you want to join MTBA or Cycling Australia, talk to us about your options
and what we can offer you.
