RAD CYCLERY

I've had a passion for two wheels all my life, from motocross and flat track in the 70's, to road racing in the 90's. I went from D to B Grade in 3 years due to track time, bike setup and the fitness I gained through cycling and triathlon.

It was while working in a motorbike shop, racing and getting into triathlon for some fitness, where I started to notice there wasn't any triathlon shops in my area. So when the motorbike shop was sold, I decided to open my own bicycle shop in November 1998 at Springwood. It was just after Marco Pantani had won both the Giro and Le Tour, who became my inspiration for our classic Radman logo.

We moved to Loganholme in 2004, and as I was still running the shop myself and training for endurance mountain bike events, I started to get a bit worn down. So after receiving an offer as a spare parts and accessories manager, I decided to close the shop in 2012 and head back to motorcycles. I luckily kept the servicing going in my home workshop, as, although I loved being back with motorcycles, it definitely wasn't the same as it used to be, so I restarted Rad Cyclery as a bicycle workshop in 2018 at Tanah Merah.

So fast forward to November 2024, where we reached another amazing milestone of 26 years. So I would like to thank everyone for the support over the last 26 years.
