RAD CYCLERY / RAD 2 WHEELS

I've had a passion for two wheels all my life, from motocross and flat track in the 70's, to road racing in the 90's. I went from D to B Grade in 3 years due to track time, bike setup and the fitness I gained through cycling and triathlon.

It was while servicing bicycles and prepping motorcycle race bikes in my home workshop, where I noticed the lack of a higher end shop in my area, so I decided to open Rad Cyclery at Springwood in 1998. It was just after Marco Pantani won both the Giro and Le Tour, which became my inspiration for our Radman logo.

We moved to Loganholme in 2004, where I started training for 12 and 24hr MTB events. I started to wear myself down, so I decided to except a managerial position in the moto industry, although I soon missed Rad Cyclery, so I reopened at Tanah Merah in 2018 as a workshop.

Fast forward to 2025 and after having leases for nearly 25 years, I have decided to head back to where it all started, in my home workshop. I will continue to just look after my regular customers with their bicycle and motorcycle track day requirements.
